Troy Davis Story: Latest News About "Troy Davis" Tweeters Compare Case to Casey Anthony

As the hours draw closer to the execution of Troy Davis, thousands of people have taken to Twitter to debate the case, and many are comparing the Troy Davis story with Casey Anthony’s recent controversial trial.

Many have expressed concern that Anthony, acquitted of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, was able to walk free while Davis has been confirmed to be put to death Wednesday evening.
The controversy surrounding Davis’ case comes after many of the nine witnesses that originally claimed he killed an off duty police officer over ten years ago, changed their stories following his conviction. Out of the nine, seven have since changed their statements.
However, the controversy surrounding the evidence has not stopped the scheduled lethal injection set for 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
Many Twitter users have said they are confused as to why Casey Anthony went free while Davis is facing the death penalty.
“Death penalty though,” the user questioned. “For something you have no proof over besides what people said? Casey Anthony is not guilty despite all the proof!”
