For my first few subjects in this next go-around, I thought I'd take a trip to France, where they have beautiful women in virtually every corner of the country.
First up, Isabelle Adjani, who first caused a sensation in 1975 at the age of twenty when she played Victor Hugo's deranged daughter in Francois Truffaut's
The Story of Adele H.
Mademoiselle Adjani has starred in several distinguished movies, including
One Deadly Summer (1983), the futurstic thriller
Subway (1985), and
Camille Cluadel (1989). Her portrayal of the tragedy-stricken French sculptress in the latter movie won her a French César film award for best actress.
Queen Margot in 1994 won her a César as well.
