Sara Evans - Newest Country Star to Try Out Bluegrass!
Sara Evans has reworked her hit track "Born to Fly" with a new bluegrass arrangement. The revamped track will reportedly be featured on Evans' forthcoming new record Stronger, which is due in stores on March 8.
Evans first scored with "Born to Fly" in 2001 when the track jumped to number one on the BillboardCountry Songs chart, and she went on to later win a CMA award for the video. Evans co-wrote the track with Marcus Hummon and Darrell Scott, both of whom sing backup on the new bluegrass rendition.
Evans has also made news in recent months with the release of her second novel. The book, titledSoftly and Tenderly, will be released through publisher Thomas Nelson and follows her first novel The Sweet By and By.
"Happily married, and owner of two successful boutiques, Jade longs to begin a family with her husband, Max. But when she discovers that Max has an illegitimate son - who he wants her to help raise - Jade's life is turned upside down," reads the description of the book from the publisher.
